post forty-four: more recent favourites.

Just some more recent favourites I've found.

The first song is "With You Around" by Yellowcard. The song is such a sweet one, it's a love song to his girlfriend, presumably, and there's nothing about how she cheated, or a breakup, it's simply him telling her that he loves her and that there's nothing to worry about. It's very nicely written, and this is the acoustic version, but I've always liked those better than originals anyway.

Okay, you got me. I like Fun.. But once you get past their well-known and obnoxious song "We Are Young", they're actually pretty good, and the lead singer has a good voice. This song is called Some Nights, you should give it a listen, the melody is catchy and while the lyrics aren't exactly complex, it's a good song.

Okay okay so this song isn't recent, but it's still one of my favourites that I haven't been able to stop listening to recently. The Weight by The Band is perfect and I suggest everyone listens to it, even though we've listened to it in class already, I'd like to bring it back up.
