I think that copyright laws go a little bit far. I know that George Harrison was sued because one of his songs (I think it was My Sweet Lord?) sounded remotely like another song, and it wasn't even intentional. Sometimes people need to lighten up.
Everyone illegally downloads music nowadays. For example, if I want to download a song by Adele, I don't understand why it's trees. I'm still supporting her as an artist by listening to her music. I don't think she needs an extra $1.29 in her paycheck when she's already a billionaire. Enough said.
